'Monterosa - best kept secrets of the Alps'
Our ski chalet is superbly located for winter sports only 10 minutes drive from the highly regarded ski resort of Alagna, which has a well deserved reputation as one of the 'best kept secrets of the Alps'. The modern lifts at Alagna give easy access to the Monterosa Ski area, three valleys of high altitude, snow sure pistes and fantastic off-piste. The Monterosa Ski area links the three valleys Champoluc, Gressoney and Alagna with 180km of high altitude snow sure pistes. There is skiing for all abilities and fabulous opportunities for the more adventurous.
Less than 7 minutes drive in the opposite direction and you arrive in Scopello with its traffic free ski resort of Alpe di Mera. The skiing at Alpe di Mera is small and friendly but covering 35km of red and blue pistes, not to be overlooked. Alpe di Mera can offer a useful alternative to the high altitude skiing of the Monterosa ski area. Both the Monterosa ski area and Alpe di Mera have benefited in a great deal of recent investment in new lifts and snowmaking facilities, making them very attractive for all levels of skier from Freerider to Families!
